Maybe you’ve heard of mothers consuming their placenta postpartum, or maybe you haven’t! The why will be another post, here’s the how:
1) rinse the placenta.
2) if using the cooked method- cut into pieces and put into steamer basket, steam and then slice into thin strips. If using the raw method- slice into thin strips.
3) place in dehydrator, and dehydrate until all moisture is gone.
4) grind up dehydrated placenta into fine powder and put into capsules.
5) have mom consume capsules for postpartum period.
